MARKET UPDATE: Middle market deal volume stays steady due to increase in distressed transactions. Transaction multiples stay steady due to compensation from well capitalized buyers and private equity groups. Leverage ratios are expected to remain tight for senior debt financing until the first quarter of 2010.

NewPhase Consulting completes engagement to provide merger & acquisition services to Denver based retail company. Completed assigment ended with the sale of JUA, Inc. to local investor.
